Samsung Galaxy C9 with a 6GB ram has appeared on Geekbench earlier today. It has also appeared on an Indian import-export site Zauba. Since these two appearances, there have been wide speculations about its features and prices.

Specifications

According to the latest leak, Samsung Galaxy C9 will arrive with a 6 GB ram, 64GB internal memory, and a 16MP front camera. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 652 chipset. An octa-core 1.4GHz CPU and the Adreno 510 GPU will drive the Galaxy C9. The Galaxy C9 will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will have a 5.7-inch display. Samsung seems to have got all the specs bang on.

Price

There has been no official confirmation by Samsung on any of the specifications or the price. The price that appeared on Zauba was INR 17,107 which roughly equals 260USD. It is worth noting prices on Import-Export websites are only declared the value and may not be the actual reflection of the price, as reported by NDTV gadgets.

Rumors

The Geekbench listing has shown the Galaxy C9 will have a 6 GB RAM. If this turns out to be true, this will be the highest RAM offered by Samsung on any of its phones. There were speculations that the Galaxy Note 7 will feature a 6GB RAM but that never happened.

The AnTuTu benchmark results were also spotted with tests on the phone named SM-C9000. Most of the results of these tests confirmed the specifications that have appeared on other sources.

The mid-range segment is captured by the Chinese companies Le-Eco and Xiaomi. With the launch of Galaxy C9, Samsung seems to be developing its own mid-range C series. In case you missed it, Samsung is also working on Samsung C5 Pro and C7 Pro to target the mid-range segments.

Amidst so many rumors, there was no official word from Samsung on the release date or approval of the surfaced reports. The C-series phones are currently available only in China and whether the C- series phones are to be launched outside China remains to be unknown.
