It seems Apple wants to leave no stone unturned to make sure that the highly anticipated iOS 10/10.0.1 jailbreak tool, which is yet to be released for public, becomes of no use for iPhone users. The Cupertino has already begun rolling out the latest iOS 10.0.2 update. The iOS 10.0.2 update is expected to fix the headphone bug, photos app crashing issue and more. The latest update release marks the iPhone maker's renewed stand to cease "illegal" jailbreaks of their devices.

Recently, Italian security researcher Luca Tedesco, otherwise known as "qwertyoruiop," took to Twitter to post a picture and video which showed a jailbroken iPhone 7, which was running iOS 10.0.1 with Cydia version 1.1.26 installed, reported BGR. However, there was no mention of the method which the security researcher used to jailbreak the iPhone. It also remains unclear if the jailbreak was untethered or not. It is to be noted that Todesco never rolls out his jailbreak tool. Popular jailbreak teams Pangu and TaiG are also reportedly working hard to jailbreak Apple's latest mobile operating system iOS 10. Currently, there's no iOS 10/10.0.1 jailbreak tool available for the public.

Should You Update To Apple iOS 10.02?

For users who chooses to update their device to the iOS 10.0.2, they will not be able to downgrade their handsets to 10 or 10.0.1. This means that they will not have the possibility to jailbreak their iPhones in case Pangu or TaiG releases an iOS 10/iOS 10.0.1 jailbreak tool.
