You Can Now 'Punch' Martin Shkreli In The Face, Here's How...
Martin Shkreli, the former chief executive of Turing Pharmaceuticals was arrested in December 2015 on allegations of securities fraud. Judging by his social media, Shkreli may be the most hated man in America right now. Just recently, Shkreli has offered the chance to punch him in the face.
According to Metro, the most hated pharmaceutical entrepreneur was tagged after he was caught overpricing AIDS drugs by 5,000 percent from £8.90 to £498. He has been hated by a lot of people since the news broke out. The former hedge fund manager has taken his proposal to Twitter after the death of his friend who apparently passed away from cancer and leaving a young son, Tyler who has recently finished chemotherapy for acute lymphocytic leukemia.
"I will auction one slap/punch in the face to benefit my friend Mike who passed away & leaves behind a young son who survived cancer. DM bids." Shkreli Tweeted. "I'll match donation to a certain point. You may video the slap/punch. Mike architected my publicity stunts & I bet he is watching, smiling," he added. So far, the pharmaceutical "bad boy" is only attracted to bids of up to $78,000.

One person even asked if they could nominate Mike Tyson to do the punching for them. Forbes reported that if you are interested in winning the bid, you can check the Internet for advice on how to properly punch someone in the face, which unfortunately says a lot about society. An even disturbing discussion about what the penalty is for punching someone in the face has been going on the internet.
Meanwhile, Shkreli appeared in court earlier this year on multiple charges of fraud. Just recently, he disturbingly asked his criminal defense lawyer 'Can I go play Pokemon now?' after being told the date for his trial. NY Post reported that according to Shkreli's lawyer Benjamin Brafman, he is planning to launch a 'reliance on counsel defense' against the charges. Brafman told the court that Evan Greebel, Shkreli's former lawyer, wore two hats during the relevant time period which were Retrophin's counsel and Shkreli's personal counsel.
So if you are one of those people who hate Mr. Shkreli, this may be the chance you've been waiting for. Plus, let's face, it actually is for a good cause.
