‘Clash Royale’ 2016 Update, Latest News: Gamers Not Happy With New Update? Here’s Why
While, the latest "Clash Royale" 2016 September update has brought in a lot of new and exciting changes to the gameplay, there are some gamers who aren't really happy with the new features. The update has added a new Challenges tournament mode and two new chests namely legendary chest and epic chest.
The Challenge mode is divided into Classic Challenge and Grand Challenge, each with different features and prices. The Classic challenge requires 10 gems for players to enter and offers 2,000 gold and 100 cards in reward to them who defeats 12 players, without losing three times. The Grand challenge, on the other hand, requires 100 gems for gamers to join and offers reward of 22,000 gold and 1,100 cards to only level 8 players or higher.
According to reports, a number of players have complained "Clash Royale" developer Supercell about the Challenge mode matchmaking. They found it unfair that the newly introduced mode matches players with lower cards against those who have significantly stronger cards. Gamers are not at all pleased with the idea of being placed against strong opponents who are impossible to defeat in battle.
Another issue which has emerged from "Clash Royale" 2016 September update is cheating and hacking. A number of players are suing infinite elixir and multiple units of a card to cheat and basically win any battle. The game developer is yet to address the alleged matchmaking Challenge mode flaw and issue an official statement about it.
In related news, "Clash Royale" has reclaimed the top-grossing iOS app throne by knocking off the crazily popular augmented reality game app Pokémon Go. It is believed that the latest "Clash Royale" 2016 September update, which brought a host of exiting new features into the game including new tournament mode, new chests as well as new cards, has helped in spiking up user number.
