Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Overheating: Is Samsung Still Safe? Tech Company To Relaunch Safer Version
Samsung has relaunched the Galaxy Note 7 in several countries including South Korea and UAE. The sales were put on a stop following reports of the cell phone catching fire on Flights. However, the replacements units do still seem prone to Overheating.
Calling back the old phones
The South Korean giant had admitted earlier that Galaxy Note 7 did have a technical fault in its battery. Although after the huge recall of the Note 7, replacement units have been released, the new devices are still reported to overheat. According to a report on USA Today, customers in various countries who picked up the replacements have reported that their devices are still overheating.
Samsung had to suspend its sales of Galaxy Note 7 in September in ten global markets. Though it's expected that no more batteries will explode, users are worried about the overheating problem.
