Google has already sent out invites for the October 4 launch event where the much rumored Google Pixel/Nexus 2016 smartphones, possibly dubbed Pixel and Pixel XL, are expected to get unveiled. As the search giant has not officially announced anything about the Google Pixel/Nexus 2016 smartphones specs and features, lots of rumors about what the highly anticipated handsets will have in store are floating ablaze.

According to Android Authority, popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka @OnLeaks has released a leaked video which shows a 360-degree rendering of the larger Pixel XL. As per the report, the Pixel XL, which is expected to get a 5.5-inch display, will measure 154.72 x 75.74 x 7.3 mm in size. Looking at the video, it seems that Google Pixel XL will feature a glass plate on the rear which will cover the handset's camera as well as the fingerprint scanner.

Furthermore, in the video, the alleged smartphone can be seen featuring a metal frame with sloping edges, an USB Type-C port and a stereo speaker alongside the power button and volume keys. What's interesting to note is that the handset in the video also boasts a headphone jack at the top. This means that Google Pixel/Nexus 2016 smartphones will not ditch the headphone jack like Apple's latest iPhone 7 series.

Among other specs, the Google Pixel XL is expected to feature 4GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip, 32GB and 128GB storage options, Android 7.1 Nougat, a 12-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, a 3450mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C ports. Talking about Google Pixel, the smartphone will share almost all the specs with Pixel XL, except the display size and battery. The handset is rumored to get a 5-inch full-HD display with 440ppi pixel density and a 2770mAh battery.

Talking about Google Pixel/Nexus 2016 smartphones pricing rumors, the Pixel XL is expected to come with a hefty price tag of around $650.
