What's the App About?
The new creator app, which is totally free of the cost other than the purchases, of course, is currently available for both iOS and Android. The App features creation tools identical to those found in the main console game, letting the Game's Portal Masters design their Imaginators piece by piece.
The App lets you pick from a total of 10 battle classes, you have to then explore the menus that are stuffed with abilities and match them with the mischievously-voiced personalities provided in the Game, reports Time.
The main reason why the app is free is because Activision believes the kids will try to bring their imaginations to life. The App aims to do this by providing 2D trading cards (2.5"*3.5") and 3D printed models of the players' imaginations. All of these characters will be playable in the game.
Release Date And Price:
The app lets you order a 3D-printed figure of your imaginator for $50, you can also order a custom trading card for $15 or a T-shirt for $25 with your custom-made Imaginator printed on it in full color.
According to a report by PcMag, The 3D printed figure will arrive posed on a base in full color and enclosed in a protective dome. Even if the users do purchase the Imaginator Cards, they will still be able to make changes to their designed character in the game. All the changes, their appearance, weapons or the catch-phrase will be stored safely on the card.
Each of the Imaginator Cards is reported to cost around $15. The buyers in North America can download the App from Oct. 16 and receive free shipping on their orders. The Skylanders Creator app for iOS and Android will launch on Oct. 13 in Australia, New Zealand and on Oct. 14 in Europe.
