Grab $1.5m For iOS 10 Jailbreak: Zeridium Offers Reward For Working Jailbreak Tool [VIDEO]
The iOS 10 jailbreak may happen earlier than we expected as Zeridium has offered a reward of $1.5 million to anyone who develops a working Jailbreak tool for the new OS. The iOS 10 has already been reported to be Jailbroken but the tool hasn't yet been made available to the users.
Such bounty programs are currently doing big online business. For instance, Instagram, through its bounty program, has given $4.3m to around 800 people. Zerodium now is willing to give out its biggest bounty following the public's rising interest in the iOS 10.

The Bounty:
Last year, Zeridium had offered $1m to users for taking out flaws in the iOS 9. Android 7.0 Nougat, which is comparatively easier to hack, can net up a hacker to $200,000. As Wired states, the bounty will be given to anyone who can develop a tool to remote jailbreak the iOS 10.
The $1.5 million is a huge amount and may act as a motivator for developers to jailbreak iOS 10. The beta version of the new iOS has been jailbroken by developer Luca Todesco and even made public in a YouTube video, So, fans are quite excited about the release of the Jailbreak tool.
The Progress So Far:
At present, there has been no official news about how the progress of Jailbreak tool has been. Popular groups such as Pangu, iH8sn0w or TaiG are though being rumored to be working on the tool, there's been no announcement regarding when the Tool will be ready.
Is the iOS 10 Hard To Jailbreak?
The level of security of Apple's latest iOS can be deciphered from the lucrative bounty being offered. The maximum bounty for Android 7.0 Nougat hack is $200,000, BGR reports while developing a Windows Phone bug pays just $100,000 compared to $1.5 million iOS 10 jailbreaks.
What's worth noticing is that the company is willing to pay the bounty multiple times, clearly showing their confidence in the iOS 10 security.The latest hack by Pingu was on the iOS 9.3.4, which surprised many Apple fans. Now, it is rumored that the team is silently developing a jailbreak tool for the iOS 10.
Luca Todesco has also confirmed that he's working on the iOS 10 jailbreak tool again. Though only future will tell when he's able to find out the iOS 10's weakness again, it's been reported that he's developing the tool through Safari.
