‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Latest News, Release Date, Rumors: Rockstar Games Awaiting Release Of Microsoft, Sony Gaming Consoles?
While, game developer Rockstar Games hasn't yet revealed anything about "Red Dead Redemption 2", rumors about the highly anticipated gaming title's release date have been making rounds for quite some time now. New reports suggest the long-awaited sequel will get rolled out sometime in the first quarter of 2017, probably in February.
Gamers were expecting "Red Dead Redemption 2" to get announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 June event, but, there were no words from the makers. There were also rumors of the game getting unveiled at Sony's PlayStation Meeting (PSM). It was PlayStation insider @Tidux who posted on Twitter that Rockstar would be making an announcement at the PlayStation Meeting. The tweet had a picture of a guitar, followed by a star, followed by the hashtag PSM. Unfortunately, the same did not happen. It still remains unclear whether or not "Red Dead Redemption 2" will see the light of the day.
Interestingly, there are also reports which claim that Rockstar and its parent company Take-Two Interactive are delaying "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date to make sure that the much talked about the game, is rolled out in time for the release of Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro and Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio, reported Alphr. Rumors are that the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption" sequel will be titled "Legends of the West."
Talking about "Red Dead Redemption 2" gameplay, it is expected that the game will feature more than one lead character as well as a massive open-world set up. If the rumors turn out to be true then gamers can expect a lot of interesting and exciting twists in the game.
