Google Pixel Best Features Won't Arrive Yet? Full Phone Specs, Latest Updates, Review Here [VIDEO]
At the Pixel event held on October 4 in San Francisco, Google unveiled a number of products including the much awaited Google Pixel and Pixel XL smart-phones. Though, the flagship announcement was about the first smart phone totally manufactured by Google, inside and outside, the hardware event however, did not mention anything related to the Pixel featuring Nougat 7.1.
Google started off with an official introduction to the Pixel phone, the first smart-phone to exclusively have the Google branding. The introduction was followed by the reveal of Google's new Artificial Assistant software that is to power the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones and also, Google Home. The other products Google showcased included its Daydream View, the new 4K Chromecast Ultra and Google's modular Wi-Fi router system.

What Pixel Will Have:
Google Pixel will come in two sizes: 5-inch and 5.5-inch XL that will cost $649 and $769 respectively, almost similar to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The devices will feature a 4GB RAM powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The Smartphone also features the Pixels Camera app along with a 12.3 MP rear camera capable of shooting 4k videos and some special modes including the Smartbust. Google's first complete smartphone also has a quick switch adapter to enable fast data transfer from Iphones. Pixel features a Sensor Hub processor along with a finger print sensor.
What Pixel Won't Have:
Following the event, there are rumours that Pixels best features will not yet come to the Android 7.0, Nougat. Well, if this is true then you may not see the Smart Storage , Google Assistant, unlimited free backup , the built-in customer support service and a few more features in the Pixel Smartphone Recently a Google spokesperson said that the company's goal is to make Google Assistant available widely to its users, but as currently the Assistant is limited to Pixel only, it seems that the feature won't come in a free Android update anytime soon.

What Else To Expect?
In the name of the much awaited Pixel Launcher and user interface, the new smart-phones will only feature the navigation bar icons. There are a few improvements though, including Night Light with a hardware acceleration support, touch and display , new fingerprint gesture, A/B system updates, the Daydream VR mode, and several other APIs for developers.
The phones mark the end of the era of Nexus branding in favor of the better Pixel. This is probably also a sign for a development to Google's existing tablet and Chromebook line, both of which run on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The devices, available for pre-sale that is to start on Tuesday, will at present come in three colors: black, silver and real blue. Android 7.1 is reported to be launched late this month for Developer's Preview. Google has however, not yet officially announced when it will let its consumers lay hand on the new smartphones .
