The new 2016 Mercedes-AMG C63 R Coupe was recently caught on Cam, while being tested at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. After BMW revealed the M4 GTS, the Mercedes engineers made improvements in their standard AMG C63S coupe to compete with its rivals on the road. The dark blue monster was spied on video and posted online by YouTube user Super carsfromeu.

The Car takes the position of the Old black range of Mercedes just like the new AMG GT R and is also expected to be called the 'AMG C63 R'. Seen lapping the Nürburgring, the hardcore C63 coupe's looks ridiculously quick.

Features:

The most distinctive feature of AMG C63 R Coupe is a huge rear wing that seems to be inspired from the GT R.The AMG GT R may be faster but the Mercedes-AMG C63 R Coupe is still a blast to drive. The modified body kit of C63 sports flared front wheel wells and a tall rear wing attached to its black trunk lid keeping the car attached to the pavement.

AMG C63 R Coupe is also expected to feature a powerful version of the 4.0-liter, Mercedes' twin-turbo V8. Although, the new reveal may not have the AMG GT R's 577-horsepower output, it should certainly give more than the the C63 S's 503 horsepower output. The Car also sounds to have a free-flowing exhaust. Comparing with the latest C63 S version that can sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds, AMG C63 R Coupe version seems to have a faster acceleration. The turbo engine is also expected to be an AMG seven-speed transmission. Currently, we don't know anything about the interior, but it's expected to have a general model cabin with more sporty features including techs, systems and a special badge in the cabin.

Release Date \ Price:

As the current Coupe is available for around $63,000 so we can fairly expect the forthcoming model to come with a relatively higher Price. The car is reported to be a 2018 model year and should be launched near to 2017 or in 2018.

The wheelbase has already been widened so the cars dimension won't be as wide as many people earlier expected. There is still a possibility, however, that the AMG C63 R Coupe will have the GT model's lubrication system to make it race track ready.
