Windows 10 Anniversary Update For Surface Hub Released, New Features, Support For Third-Party Peripherals And More
Microsoft has rolled out a Windows 10 Anniversary update for Surface Hub. With this new update, users will be able to update their Surface Hub from Windows update, similar to Windows 10 on any other device.
Microsoft announced on October 13 that the update for Surface Hub will be released through Windows 10 Anniversary update. The update will be released in stages, with an aim of completely upgrading Surface Hub by November 2016.
With the latest Windows 10 Anniversary update, the software giant has made some remarkable changes in Surface Hub. Microsoft has reportedly brought inking support to office apps such as Excel, powerpoint, and word. This means that users will now be able to draw anything like on Office apps by going to the Draw tab on these apps.
Also with the Windows 10 Anniversary update for Surface Hub, Microsoft has introduced the simultaneous use of touch and pen. One of the most loved features of sending white boards via email has also been upgraded. With these Windows, 10 update users will be able to sign in, save and re-open the file after saving it on OneDrive.
To delight its users, this Windows 10 update will also support third-party apps to Surface Hub. Users will now be able to run Logitech Group, Logitech PTZ Pro, Polycom CX5100, BiAmp TesiraForte CI, and Jabra 810. Microsoft is planning to announce more hardware partners in short time, as reported by eweek.
