‘Gears of War 4’ Latest Update, News: New Update Affects Credit And XP Earn Rates In Horde Mode

The latest "Gears of War 4" update, which was rolled out over the weekend, has tweaked the Horde mode for gamers. The announcement was made by The Coalition on the official Gears of War forums. The latest update affects the credit and XP earn rates in "Gears of War 4" Horde mode in both public and private matches.

As per the update, the game developers have increased the credit earn rates across all difficulties. This basically means that gamers will now be getting more credits per match than before, irrespective of how they choose to play.

"We have shifted total credit earn rates to tie a bit more in with finishing the waves and less on finishing consecutive waves," the post read. "This is to help players not feel as if they are being punished for trying higher difficulties and not always making it to 50."

Furthermore, the level XP earn rate on classes has also been increased. The boost in rewards will make it a bit easier for players to earn in-game lucre now than it was at launch. Notably, "Gears of War 4" gamers can expect more new updates to roll out soon.

Previously, The Coalition had compiled and provided a list of features and items that it is planning to get fixed in "Gears of War 4" based on fans' feedback. The list included issues related to Hammerburst Balancing, Competitive Lancer/Gnasher adjustments, Stricter Quit Penalties, Full player roster, Competitive/Core Lobbies, Gears Pack System Improvements, PC Crossplay Request, Gnasher shots, UI notifications, Grenade spawning issue and more.

The Coalition noted that they have plenty planned for upcoming community events, additional game content, maps and more to share in the near future. So, gamers can expect news on some of the updates very soon.
