Amazon's virtual assistant Alexa is arriving on the fire tablets. The software update will start rolling out for customers from October 26. The Alexa update on Fire tablets is meant to compliment the features offered by the Amazon's Alexa devices such as Echo speakers.By using voice commands users can now avail the features of Alexa on their fire tablets. The user can ask Alexa to read out the news or play music.

The Fire tablets will offer additional features than the ones offered by Echo. The Fire tablets will offer full-screen cards with additional details.as reported by Deccan Chronicle.

The Fire tablets will give users the current temperature and day's forecast similar to Echo but will additionally show a visual card which will display the week's forecast. For music and news, it will offer a playback control to the users. Amazon's Alexa will sync the use of both the device for users who are equipped with both Echo and Fire tablets. When a user will make a request on Echo, Fire's screen will turn on and present the detailed cards.

Amazon claims Alexa is designed for Tablets rather than phones. Apple's Siri and Google's Assistant are both primarily focussed on mobiles.

Amazon's Alexa on Fire tablets focuses on tasks done at homes such as entertainment, recipes, and timers. For other tasks which are performed on the go, Alexa will direct the users to Alexa App.as reported by ABC News. Amazon has focussed on the tablet market despite the slumping sales of its competitors. Amazon's basic tablet costs just $49. Recently, Amazon introduced a new 8-inch tablet for $90, down from $150.

Aaron Bromberg, a senior product manager for Fire tablets, said, "we also see an awful lot of people that want tablets to use around the house for entertainment." Amazon is not targeting the business oriented tablets such as iPad Pro.

With the new update, a sync between Echo and Fire tablets will be an amazing experience for the users. Let us wait and see how the regular buyers find the new Alexa update. Tell us in the comment section, what you think of the new Amazon's Alexa update on Fire tablets.
