With the surprising demise of the iPhone's headphone jack, there came a flood of wireless headphones meant to fill up the vacancy of the wired earphones. Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds though may not be perfect but are pretty damn close to fill up the empty spaces. Available for a price tag of $129.99, the Jaybird X3 wireless earbuds will hit the market next month.

Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds: Complete Review

Jaybird has made its place amongst the best bluetooth headphone makers in the past year. A little while back, Logitech saw the future of the Bluetooth manufacturer and bought the company for cash. Now, with the launch of the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds, the company is all set to take over the wireless headphones market again.

Earlier last year Jaybird had launched its X2 earbuds. Though there were no such huge flaws in the Bluetooth earbuds, the $180 price tag couldn't attract much of the consumers. With the unveiling of the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds, the wireless headphone manufacturer has tried to prove that a successful iteration on a popular line-up has to be much more than just a fresh coat of paint. A lot of people who bought the Jaybird X2 have been expecting the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds to be launched soon.

Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds: Specs And Features

Just like its predecessor, the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds come in three tip sizes in rubber as well as foam versions. While, the rubberized wings do provide a tight and secure fit for most ear sizes, the foam version has a better grip but doesn't transmit that quality sound.

The wireless earbuds can run for eight hours once fully charged. The earbuds are totally sweat-proof and offer flawless connectivity even when the user is indulged in any sports activity. The Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds work perfectly even in crowded and electronics-heavy areas, where even the much expensive wireless headsets turn useless.

 What's New?

Although most of the features of the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds are similar to its predecessor, there has been a major improvement to the bass. The quality may not be as good as the beats headphones, still Jaybird has managed to pack quite a surprise for the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds users. The Bass and other sound adjustments can be made by using the My Sound app, which loads the EQ setting to the the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds' firmware.

Once you have saved the EQ settings to the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds' firmware, it won't matter even if you delete the app. What's annoying is that you cannot really disable the voice assistant, even through the app. But, keeping in view the other features being offered, this minor problem can be ignored.

 Looks:

The Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds have a more flat profile than the last year model. This is very helpful and a thumbs up for all the sports folks who have to wear helmets in their course of training. Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds also feature a comparatively bigger control module.

While the larger control module does provide an ease in finding the buttons, there are two minor problems added as well. First that the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds have a proprietary four-pin setup in place of the earlier USB charging port and secondly, the tiny, single-purpose charging docs are very much prone to getting lost.

Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds: Price And Release Date

It is worth noticeable that the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds can be purchased for a price tag of $129.99, which is pretty less than the earlier $200 Jaybird Freedom earbuds. The wireless earbuds are available for direct purchase from Jaybird and will be available on Best Buy, next month.

Although they're $50 cheaper than last year's X2 version the Jaybird X3 Wireless Earbuds aren't cheap either. But as per the features being offered they could be a successful iteration of one of the best bluetooth earbuds lineup available in the market.
