Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 Specs, Price, Release Date: Leaked Video Reveals Possible Handset Specs!

Samsung is expected to release the successor of their 'A' series smartphone, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) very soon. Considering the fact that the Galaxy A5 (2016) was launched in December of 2015, expectations are high that the upcoming A5 (2017) will be released the same month this year.

As hopes are getting high for Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)'s release, some leaked videos about the smartphone have surfaced on the web. With the help of this videos, Galaxy A5 (2017) watchers worldwide got a chance to have a glance of what the smartphone might come in store with.

If the leaked videos are to be believed,  the new Galaxy "A5" phone will be thicker than its predecessor. According to GSM Arena , there is a higher chance that Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) will have a 5.2-inch touchscreen and its dimensions will be 145 x 71 x 7.8 mm. The smartphone is rumored to feature a 3,000 MAh battery capacity compared to 2016's Samsung Galaxy A5 which has a 2,900 MAh battery capacity.

Some reports claim that A5 (2007) will be equipped with a CPU with four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at up to 1.87 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 1.3 GHz which is set to be powered by Samsung's Exynos 7880 chipset and a Mali-T860MP4 GPU.

Among other specs, the smartphone is expected to feature a 'glass sandwich' construction, a 3GB RAM and a 13MP main camera. Reports are that the Galaxy A5 (2017) will be released running with an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and it will be having both single SIM and dual-SIM models ( SM-A520F and SM-A520F/ DS ).

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is rumored to have rounded edges on the back with a premium form factor same as previous Samsung phones such as the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S7, Headline and Global News reported.
