2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring: Preview
Scheduled to be launched officially this year on November 16, the new 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring medium SUV is expected to take Mazda's Kodo design language to a totally new level. In the new teaser released by Mazda earlier, the next-generation mid-sized SUV appears to have similar features as that of the CX-3.

2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring: Looks
What's more noticeable is that the long bonnet as well as the short rear overhang of the 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring has the same design as that of the earlier CX-3. In terms of the overall design, however, the new CX-5 model is inspired from the bigger CX-9, including an angular face with new sharper head and tail lights.

A prototype of the new CX-5 SUV was earlier spied undergoing a test drive in August. The bigger changes include the new CX-5's aggressive and sportier nose. On the rear, the changes are not that easily noticeable, although the new tail-light design with a chrome strip in between do distinguish the new 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring from the earlier models.
2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring: Interior And Powertrain
While no images of the upcoming CX-5's interior have been officially revealed yet, the new Mazda CX-5 is more likely to get an overhaul. The CX-5 has already been reported to include Mazda's G-Vectoring Control technology that has already been featured in Mazda 3 and Mazda 6.
2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring will feature the Auto-manufacturer's SkyActiv petrol or the diesel engines. These include the updated versions of the 138kW/250Nm 2.5-litre petrol as well as the 129kW/420Nm turbo-diesel engines.
It is also quite possible that the new 2017 Grand Touring Car may come featuring the 2.5-litre turbo, which produces 170kW of power and a torque of 420Nm. While no official price for the 2017 Mazda CX-5 model has been revealed yet, it has been confirmed that the mid-sized SUV will make an official reveal on November 16 at the 2016 Los Angeles Motor Show.
