2016 Macbook Pro: Complete Review
The new version of MacBook Pro is lighter as compared to the older version and also comes with a fingerprint scanner for added security. The laptop also still features Apple's USB-C, revealed with the MacBook earlier last year.
All About The New Touch Bar:
Probably the biggest change to the 2016 Macbook Pro is the new OLED touch panel called Touch Bar, which has shortcuts to various functions including volume control and window management. It has multitouch, a retina display and responds to taps and gestures. At the right end of the strip is the Apple's Touch ID fingerprint scanner that is integrated with the power button. The new Macbook Pro also features a Force Touch trackpad, which is twice the size of the earlier version.
Apple had also stated earlier that the new 2016 MacBook Pro will feature the Intel i5 / i7 processor, A RAM of 8GB and 256GB internal storage. Fortunately, the Macbook Pro does feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and has up to 10 hours of battery life.
2016 Macbook Pro: What It Lacks:
The 2016 Macbook Pro currently has four USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, which are used for both power as well as connectivity. However, the new laptop doesn't feature HDMI port, SD card reader, or the two USB-A ports that were featured in the last model. Instead of having a MagSafe power adapter, the laptop still relies on the USB-C.
