Alienware 13 VR Laptop Offers NVIDIA To Support VR gaming:

The latest gaming notebooks by Alienware come packed in with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 Series GPU processor chips. Plus, these new variants come in four different types. These being - a 1080 IPS variant, a TN variant, and two 1440p OLED variants which comprise of 8GB and 16GB of RAM.

The variants which are not powered by OLED technology are offered the power from Intel Core i5-6300HQ processors. On the other hand, the OLED notebooks feature an i7-6700HQ processor. But, all four Alienware 13 VR gaming laptops are provided with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU. This graphics card acts convenient for 1080p gaming resolution. Plus, it offers up to 40-50% more performance power compared to the GTX 970M which is also available at a similar price.

Alienware 13 VR notebooks: Design at a glance

When it comes to the design, the Alienware 13 "VR-ready" gaming notebook comprises of more class than the previous model. Its seamless body offers 13 x 10.6 x 0.87 inches of measurements with a weight of almost 5.4lbs. The lid of the laptop features Alienware Epic Gray aluminium metal anodized for higher durability. The other parts of the body are made of plastic and magnesium alloy.

The laptop also offers a new hinge which Alienware reports of lets addition of larger fans and more rear ports. This increases the cooling of laptop without increasing the noise.

Alienware 13 VR Pricing

The TN model of the Alienware 13 VR laptop has a starting cost of $1,199. On the other hand, the OLED variant can be bought at $2,099. All these notebooks are provided with a basic IR camera with Windows Hello facial security recognition for login. These also include, stereo speakers, a 7.1 channel audio, USB 3.0 Type-C port, Thunderbolt 3/USB-C port, 2 audio jacks, Mini Display Port 1.2, HDMI 2.0, and 2 USB 3.0 ports.
