Lexus has unveiled the modified version of Lexus LC 500 at the 2016 SEMA show on Tuesday. The car has been designed by Gordon Ting and Beyond Marketing. The world's first modified LC looks similar to a production RCF. The Lexus LC is not available in the showroom until 2017, so Beyond Marketing was given early access to pre-production model, LC 500. Signature Autobody has prepared the sparkling Avery Gloss yellow exterior.

Underneath the revamped aesthetics, LC 500 rolls on 22-inch satin charcoal wheels with sticky, Pirelli P Zero Nero tires. The regular LC is available with a 471-horsepower 5.0-liter V-8. In the modified LC, the enlarged V-8 displaced 5.6 liters with a 525 hp and was able to clock 9,000 rpm, as reported by Motor Authority. The engine works were performed by Magnus Ohlaker, who comes with an experience of building Formula One and Indycar engines.Yes,the modified Lexus was machined and assembled at DSPORT's facility. A Lexus spokesperson said,

"While not exploited at this juncture, the power handling capabilities of the 2UR-GSE engine have been more than doubled."

The inside of Lexus LC 500 has been given a complete racing theme. The carbon-fiber Sparco racing seats securely hold the driver and passenger. GT3-spec safety cage is also part of the interior. The car adopts a custom body kit, prated wheels, suspension, and brakes. Besides, the obvious changes the LC 500 also receives custom fender flares, a front diffuser, a rear diffuser, Spirit Custom Lexus LC Kit, and side skirts, as reported by Motor Trend.

The theme car was build to be a road car inspired by LC500 Super GT racer. Most of the custom components such as body kit, performance suspension, and brake kits will go on sale next year and coincide with LC's arrival in the showrooms.
