Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Release Date, Price: Here’s How To Order The $720 Self Lacing Shoes

Rumors about Nike's self-lacing HyperAdapt 1.0 shoes coming with a whopping $1000 price tag have turned out to be false as it has now been confirmed that the Nike shoes will get released in December carrying a $720 price tag. The news was shared by YouTuber Jacques Slade through Twitter.

Notably, the highly innovative Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, which was initially unveiled in March, is the first to feature Nike's new self-lacing technology. It is when the wearer will hit the sensor with their heel that the sneakers' laces will tighten up automatically. The shoes with have two buttons on the side that will help the wearer loosen or tighten their fit. So, comfort won't be an issue at all.

Furthermore, the shoes are powered by lithium-ion batteries which Nike claims will run up to two weeks. There are LED lights in the heel that will display the status of the battery life. If the light is blue it means that the battery is still going strong, if the color changes to yellow then that's an indication that it only has a few days' of battery life left and if the color turns red then it's a is a sign that the shoes require a battery charge as soon as possible.

Nike has announced that the innovative $720 HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available to Nike+ members in Black, White and Blue Lagoon colors at the Nike Soho store and Nike Clubhouse in New York City starting December 1. In fact, a small number of Nike+ members will get to check the shoes on November 28. Those people will be informed about the opportunity through the Nike+ app's "Reserved for you" system.
