2018 Ford Ecosport Facelift Model Complete Review[Video]: Specs, Features, Price And Release Date Revealed!

Ahead of the Los Angeles Motor Show, the auto manufacturer has revealed their latest 2018 Ford EcoSport Facelift Model. Introduced as an imaginary friend car, the EcoSport was unveiled earlier in Ford's press release and later in a Snapchat-powered party which also featured DJ Khaled.

The 2018 Ford EcoSport Facelift Model gets a huge number of exterior changes, refreshed styling and redesigned interiors to compete with its fresh rivals. The new facelifted EcoSport is expected to be launched as MY2018 in the U.S. market. Here's what we know about the latest EcoSport Model so far:

2018 Ford EcoSport Facelift Model: Powertrain

The latest face lifted model will roll out as both front wheels as well as a four-wheel drive. Although, there's no official reveal about the PowerTrain, it's expected to feature either the earlier 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engines or a new 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost. Both motors are expected to be paired with a standard 6-speed automatic transmission and the four-wheel drive system will come with the 2.0-litre engine.

The new face lifted EcoSport features a single-piece hexagonal grille with a blue oval logo at its centre. A few changes have been made in the bumper itself, making space for new and larger fog lamps. Some modifications have been done in the bonnet as well, now featuring well-defined crease lines along the sides as well as the centre.

The 2018 Ford EcoSport Facelift Model has a more aggressive look than the outgoing model. Although the car now has the earlier alloy wheels, the overall side profile has been changed. The rear also now features a new faux skid plate but doesn't have the mounted spare wheel.

The interiors of the face lifted model have been updated. Featuring new dashboard as well as the steering wheel, the earlier twin-pod instrument cluster has also been replaced by a single display unit. The Display includes an analogue tachometer, speedometer on the edges as well as the engine temperature and fuel-gauges in between.

The 2018 Ford EcoSport Facelift Model also features an MFD screen, displaying fuel consumption, trip, and other specs. The earlier vertical A/C Vents on the centre console have been replaced with new horizontal vents. The latest model also features a new 8-inch SYNC3 infotainment system, which also supports Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto.

The Facelift model also features new modified switches and rotary knobs. The new 675-watt music system has been upgraded to a 10-speaker B&O Play system. The car will hit the streets sometime in the first quarter of 2018.
