Look: Stunning Supermoon Photos Across The Globe
The supermoon came the closest to Earth that it has been since 1948 and as a result, stargazers headed to high-rise buildings and other open spaces to witness the supermoon, hoping to snap spectacular photos of the phenomenon.
The moon is at the closest to Earth in seven decades at a distance of 221,524 miles which made the moon look 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than its smallest apparent size.
For those who were not able to witness the supermoon during the evening or morning, depending on their location on Earth, these stunning photos will give you an idea on how spectacular the phenomenon was.
