There have been rumors throughout the year regarding the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S getting few upgrades. Now finally it has been revealed that the Lamborghini model, which is to be rolled out next year, will get a facelift and major exterior changes. The leaks came from the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union, where Lamborghini recently registered the upcoming model's name "Aventador S".
The 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S is expected to be much faster and superior to the existing models. The car will also feature a couple of exterior tweaks to give it an over all radical design. Here's what we know about the upcoming model so far:
2017 Lamborghini Aventador S: Specs & Features
The Aventador S has already been spied a couple of times throughout the year, giving us a glimpse of what the car may have to offer. According to Carscoops, the upcoming model will have some major tweaks in both the aesthetic as well as the mechanical section so as to increase the power output up to 40 HP as compared to the current models.
The"S" suffix appearing in the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S has already been featured in other Lamborghini cars, including Miura as well as Countach. It is worth noticing that both these models were much enhanced than their earlier versions. It can be hence, assumed that the upcoming model will feature a more powerful engine and a better redesign.
Although the inside of the hood has not yet been revealed, the Lamborghini Aventador's 2017 model is expected to spec a 6.5 Litre V12 engine featured in the current model. The engine will give a power output of 690 HP. Recent leaks also suggest that the changes may improve the output to up to 720 HP.
The upcoming model may also get rid of its earlier ISR automatic gearbox to provide a more refined and smooth shifting experience. The 2017 Lamborghini model is also expected to finally debut the adaptive damping system, which has already been featured in other Lamborghini models.

Although the leaked images show the upcoming model covered in an excellent camouflage, we were still able to spot the major redesigned been done so far. The 2017 Aventador S has some changes in the aero section, which seems to be inspired by the earlier Superveloce model. The 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S also has some major changes on the car's front.
The prototype features a totally redesigned bumper, which also included new air intakes. With these new air vents, the upcoming model may have a better cooling system as compared to the current model. The spied pictures also reveal the new model to feature hexagonal shaped inlets. Over all the upcoming Aventador S looks more aggressive and superior to the current models. The rear also has some minor tweaks. The rear bumper has been redesigned and now features a new diffuser as well as wide exhaust outlets.

The upcoming 2017 model is expected to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next year. Although not much has been revealed about the mode, the car manufacturer is still expected to be working on a special edition model of the Lamborghini Aventador.
Although Lamborghini has not yet revealed anything about the model's interior, it's expected that the 2017 model will feature latest lightweight carbon fiber bucket seats along with an SV-specific instrument cluster.
