The Honda CR-V is among the best-selling SUVs in the entire US. As the previous model has been on the roads for far too long, the new 2017 Honda Cr-V Touring will bring a totally new experience with it. The first thing you'll notice in the car is it's bigger and better than the previous models.
According to recent reports, Honda will re-launch new models of its already existing vehicles in the upcoming 4 years to provide a new driving experience to all its buyers. The upcoming new 2017 Honda CR-V Touring is also expected to break all the previous sales records. Here's everything to know about the upcoming fifth generation CR-V:
New 2017 Honda CR-V Touring: Specs & Features
The base CR-V LX model is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, which gives an output of 184 HP. The EX, EX-L, as well as the Touring versions, feature a 1.5-liter turbo engine with an output of 190 hp. Both the engines produce enough power to generate a torque of 2000 rpm. Although official ratings haven't been revealed yet, the fifth-generation CR-V has the highest EPA fuel-economy ratings in its class.
The new 2017 Honda CR-V Touring also features the standard active grille shutters which in improving the SUV's overall aerodynamic performance. In terms of dimensions, the upcoming CR-V is 1.4" wider and taller in comparison to the outgoing model. It also weighs about 58 pounds less.

While the fifth generation CR-V does seem a little bigger, the muscular fenders, as well as the detailed front and rear lights, give it a marvelous look. The SUV features a horizontal chrome bar flanked by Daytime running LED headlights. The new 2017 Honda CR-V Touring is also spacier than before. The Cabin offers 2" extra legroom for rear seat passengers as compared to the previous model.
The Cargo space has also been enhanced by more than 10 inches, as and when the seats are folded back. The fifth generation CR-V features an actual volume knob on the inside for the 7" Display/Audio system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included in the upcoming CR-V's infotainment package. A full Leather interior comes as a standard on both the EX-L and Touring models. Other additions include a reconfigurable center console, a two-level rear package shelf, and also a rear liftgate.

The upcoming SUV has a longer wheelbase and comparatively larger wheels. The vehicle also features a kick-operated power tailgate and a user-defined height feature. The tailgate can be programmed to open at a lower height.
The rear leg room is fairly large and the seats are also very comfortable. The new 2017 Honda CR-V also features a drive assistance system which is really helpful in heavy traffic. The Suspension system is also quite good and absorbs most of the bumps on the road, providing a soothing ride experience. The steering control is also quicker and more precise than the earlier models.
