'GTA 6' Release Date, Latest News & Update: Game Set In London Or Tokyo? May Feature VR Support

As the gaming world awaits the for the latest edition in the Grand Theft Auto series, "GTA 6" developers have released some updates about the upcoming game. GTA, aka the Grand Theft Auto franchise, has been extremely popular in the tech world. The last edition, "GTA 5" sold extremely successfully globally. 

It was created by Mike Dailly and David Jones, and is a video game series with open world action. In the game, a central character fulfils missions all across a particular city. The targets include missions given by the city's influential crowd, among others. The previous cities in the gameplay settings were New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. With the upcoming edition, the developers are thinking of changing not only countries, but continents!

GTA 6 Release Date, Latest News & Update-

The game publishers are currently trying to figure out the most basic attribute- the setting of the game. Where will "GTA 6" be set? Currently there is a fix between Tokyo and London. There is a lot of excitement and speculation ongoing in the gaming world. GTA series is known for its underlying criminal theme and eventful setting. As stated by the company, the location is one of the most essential attributes of the game. It along decides the missions and story of the game. 

"The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the mission in," Rockstar President Leslie Benzies explained. He also assured that "GTA 6" would fulfil its fans' expectations by the time it releases in 2018.

Virtual Reality

Users are also speculating if Rockstar Games would jump upon the VR train. Virtual Reality game play and technology are in high demand currently. There are rumours flying that Rockstar would be creating "GTA 6" with VR attributes. 

The VR addition would be certainly appreciated by fans as it adds to the entire gaming experience. It would also mesh well with the fast paced action of GTA. However, this addition might delay the expected release of the game. The game developers are yet to confirm if VR would in fact be a part of the game.
