‘Surface Pro 5’ Release Date Set In 2017! Here’s How It Beats Up Current ‘Surface Pro 4’ Model! Concept, Complete Specs & Price Revealed!
Based on the discounts being offered on the current Surface 4 model, it seems pretty clear that Microsoft is paving the path for the upcoming Surface Pro 5. While the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 release date will be set sometime around spring 2017, recent reports suggest that the 2-in-1 device will easily beat up the Surface Pro 4.
Although the next model was expected to be rolled out earlier in Microsoft's October event, as it didn't happen it's expected that the tech giant has something big for its next year plan. The current Surface Pro 4 model features a 2,736 x 1,824 pixel IPS LCD panel, which comes with an amazing 267 PPI pixel density. The device comes with an adjustable kickstand and measures 292 x 201 x 8.4mm. The screen also includes a stellar 0.67 Delta E average. The upcoming Surface Pro 5, however, will feature a much better 4K/UHD display. The device will be available in 3,840 x 2,560 (3:2) pixels resolution.
There are reports that a 3,840 x 2,160 (16:9) pixels resolution version may also be available. While the current Surface Pro 4 model featured a pretty stylish Surface pen, which was well appreciated by the tech fanatics. It's now expected that the upcoming 2017 model will feature a rechargeable stylus with its dock. The dock will be used to recharge the stylus when it's not being used.

The earlier Surface Pro models were powered by either of the Core m3, Core i5 or Core i7 intel skylake processor. It's expected that next year's model will feature the latest Kaby Lake processors. The new devices will also have the latest USB 3.1 as compared to the earlier USB 3.0 versions on the current Surface Pro devices.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 models will also run the Windows 10 OS and will be available in 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage options. The camera specifications are also expected to be quite similar to the Surface Pro 4.
Surface Pro 5: Release Date & Price
As stated earlier, the latest model was expected to be revealed much earlier in the Tech Giant's October event but as that didn't happen, the Surface Pro 5 is now expected to be rolled out sometime in spring, next year. While no major architecture has been done in comparison to the Surface Pro 4, the upcoming model will support the 4K display.
