Accoding to Chinese culture and values, number 4 is not a number associated with good luck. OnePlus, being a Chinese smartphone company, may follow traditional values and skip OnePlus 4 completely. However, you don't have to worry about not getting your hands on the latest model! The next model will called the OnePlus 5.

Apart from such change in model name, there is also a major change in the body of the phone. It is rumoured that OnePlus 5 may change the body of the upcoming handset. OnePlus 5 may possibly have a ceramic body instead of an aluminium one.

They can work on the resistance of the ceramic body during the manufacturing process. Fans and users should not be unnecessarily worried about this piece of news.

The news of a ceramic body first started floating when the company that designed the ceramic cover of Xiaomi Mi Mix confirmed that one of its newest clients is... OnePlus! That is the reason why the rumors might actually turn out to be true.

Since everyone is now migrating to 5G specs and support, handset makerts are also shifting to ceramic bodies. 5G networks have not become a regular norm yet, but it will eventually grow across the globe.
