The electric bike has been completely manufactured in Austria. The first thing that's easily noticed is the J1's basic yet intelligent chassis design. The bike offers an amazing torsional rigidity, and a relatively low center of gravity, which is ideal for perfectly balanced riding. The central frame is made up of an aluminum alloy and is pretty tough when it comes to testing. The front twin-arm aluminum fork has a parallel aluminum box-section arm, which equalizes the braking torque.
The Rear single-arm cast aluminum fork also comes with an integrated drive unit. The Johammer J1's front wheel is fitted with an aluminum rim and contains 2 bolted flange discs. The rear wheel, on the other hand, contains an aluminum rim and features a welded pressed flange. The bike features the latest dual-piston brake calipers on both front and rear ends. The disc diameter is around 300 mm. The bike features a recuperative braking system, and so the brake pads last much longer.

The bike's rare engine gives an 11kW continuous power output. The Peak power output hits a 16kW range. The bike features DC-excited synchronous motor, which comes attached to single-stage transmission. Both the devices are submerged in a sealed oil bath by default and hence no individual maintenance is required.
What's more interesting is that the bike has no dashboard. All the essential riding data is displayed on the side round mirrors instead. The mirrors feature 2.4" screens, which the rider can use to determine the Johammer J1's top speed, battery and more.
The 11 kW engine gets its power input from another 8.3 kWh/12.7 kWh battery and provides a 93 - 124 miles range respectively. The bike has a top speed of 120 km/h (74.5 mph) and is also equipped with LED lighting.
