Square Enix may have dropped an Easter egg in "Final Fantasy 15" that hints details about "Kingdom Hearts 3." More updates are increasing the anticipation for its rumored launch in 2017.

In "Final Fantasy 15," it is seen in this screen capture that Prompto blurts out a line that is rumored to be connected with "Kingdom Hearts 3." He said, "Or like a magical key that can unlock any door - like from the video games!" Fans immediately speculated that he is referring to Sora's keyblade in "Kingdom Hearts." This may be a sign that Square Enix is in the final development stages of the highly anticipated game.

Square Enix officially announced last year that worlds based on "Tangled," "Big Hero 6," and "Hercules will be in the game. Disney owns "Star Wars" and "Marvel," but it is not yet confirmed that the characters and worlds will be included in the third installment of "Kingdom Hearts." It is heard through the grapevine that "Frozen," "The Jungle Book," "Wreck-it Ralph," "Brave," "Zootopia," and "Toy Story" might also be included in Sora's next adventure.

Other hints that the game developer may be dropping to fans are the redistribution of previous "Kingdom Hearts" titles. Polygon reported that the remasted bundle will include "Kingdom Hearts," "Kingdom Hearts 2," "Re:coded," "358/2 Days," "Birth By Sleep," and "Re:Chain of Memories." A major clue that Square Enix is preparing the gamers for the release of the much anticipated title.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is one of the most awaited games this year together with the likes of "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," as well as "Final Fantasy 15." For now, fans can keep their fingers crossed that 2017 will be the year that they will be able to see Sora's next quest. Stay tuned to SWR for more updates on "Kingdom Hearts 3."
