Elon Musk Was Invited To Donald Trump's Tech Meeting; Will The Real-Life Iron Man Go?
The name of Elon Musk is under the spotlight this 2016. He is the most admired tech leader in the survey. Thus, the President-elect Donald Trump invited the real-life Iron Man in the meeting for the tech industry executives.
In a report by The Wall Street Journal, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk plans to attend the meeting invite by the President-elect Donal Trump, citing people familiar with the matter. The meeting for the executives of the tech industry will be held in New York.
Meanwhile, Peter Thiel, a close associate and the co-founder of Elon Musk of PayPal, is a tech investor and entrepreneur who helps Donald Trump during his campaign. Peter Thiel is part of the transition team of Donald Trump. He is helping in organizing the meeting that will happen on Wednesday.
As many reports show that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration is the highest customer of SpaceX. It has a $6.5 billion contract with the space company to deliver cargo and U.S. astronauts to the International Space Station.
However, Kara Swisher from Recode reported that a source told them that Elon Musk has not yet accepted the invitation. But, the office of Elon Musk says that they are glad to get the invitation.
Elon Musk is a busy person, owning different companies. Thus, critical work obligations will hinder him for attending, but the doors are still open for the change of schedule. However, at this point, he is less likely to come. The source added.

As follows, it has been previously reported that Elon Musk would be happy to talk to Donald Trump. There are a lot of things for them to discuss. Of which, it would be the future of transportation and rules around electric and self-driving cars, infrastructure to support those efforts and other topics important to Elon Musk, including the issues with regard to climate change and the environment.
