'Overwatch' Winter Wonderland: Update Now Live, Collect Rewards Till January 2!

"Overwatch" fans, here is some day making news for you! Blizzard has now released the "Winter Wonderland" update for the popular game "Overwatch" to celebrate the holiday season.

This multiplayer shooter game has gotten a massive fan following and they will surely appreciate the company bringing holiday spirit into the game itself.

An invite was published by the game developer, Blizzard to all the fans and players of "Overwatch" for the "Winter Wonderland"update. The invite was a GIF which displayed a snow-capped version of the King's Row map. The invite was published a gfew weeks after the sound files were first found in the "Overwatch" game. These files indicated that a holiday event could be upcoming in the game itself.

Now, the "Overwatch" Winter Wonderland is finally here with holiday loot boxes, fights and a lot more!

What can you expect in "Overwatch" Winter Wonderland?

A. Loot Boxes

The "Overwatch" Winter Wonderland brings the legendary Loot Boxes that have extremely specific items. These include profile icons, sprays, character skins, and even highlight intros.

12 skins have been included in the Winter Wonderland update for Zarya, Pharah, Torbjörn, Reaper, Winston, Roadhog, Lucio, Mei, Tracer, Zenyatta, McCree, and even the latest hero to be added to the game, Sombra. These Loot Boxes can either be purchased or earned by the players. Once the Loot Boxes are accessed, you can continue using them even after this holiday event.

B. Mei's Snowball Offensive

Not just this, you will see a very event specific brawl which is the the Mei's Snowball Offensive. It is a six on six elimination match which will feature Ecopoint Antarctica. You will play in the brawl as "Mei" with different weapons (a snowball launcher).One awesome feature about this brawl is that Mei's weapon becomes semi automatic, and you can keep on shooting the snowballs without reloading the weapon.

C. Other Goodies

Wait up, gamers and fans! There is a Mystery brawl also in store for you. The characters used by you will be chosen randomly each and every time they respawn.

The "Overwatch" Winter Wonderland will only run till January 2, 2017. If you want to collect all the offerings of this update, you should start now. There are three weeks to go, but do hurry!
