New Nokia Phone Revealed By Second Owners HMD Global: 'Snake' Game, A 31 Day Battery Life, VGA Camera & More!
New Nokia phones will hit the market in the first quarter next year. The Finnish firm HMD Global made the announcement about the two new Nokia phones, news that has created a lot of excitement among Nokia fans.
The new Nokia phone that has been announced is termed 150 and 150 dual-sim. The phone will be equipped with a 2.4-inch QVGA screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Both Nokia phones will have a built-in FM and MP3 player.
The new Nokia phone will boast a talk time battery life of 22 hours with and standby battery life of 31 days for single sim model and 25 days for a dual-sim model. The phone will use a standard USB charging and will also be equipped with LED torch light, as reported by Financial Express. Most Nokia fans still missed the Snake game; it has made a came back too on both 150 and 150 dual-sim. Gameloft's nitro racing would also be seen in both the new Nokia Phone models.
It will also feature a Bluetooth, VGA camera, and a MicroSD card slot that will support up to 32GB memory cards. The phone will run on Nokia Series 30+ operating system and not on Android as it was highly anticipated. HMD said that the new phones would bring back the classic durability of Nokia phones and these devices were "built to last." There were several rumors and first phone from the new Nokia would be an Android smartphone, but looks like fans will have to compromise with the 150 and 150 dual-sim.
HMD Global had acquired the licensing rights and intellectual property licenses from Nokia, for the next ten years. Under the agreement, Nokia will receive royalties for every phone sold under Nokia's brand name, as reported by CNBC.
The new Nokia phone would be priced at $26 and will come in two color options, Black or White. The phones will be first launched in Europe, Asia-pacific, India, Africa, and Middle-East. US release dates were not announced yet.
