'Tekken 7' Latest News, Update: Kuma And Panda Will Join The Line-up, Online Tournament Also Announced
"Tekken 7" online tournament mode was recently announced by Bandai Namco. In the same announcement, it was revealed that Kuma and Panda would be making a comeback. "Tekken 7" Fated Retribution will see Kuma and Panda in two new roles as opposed to the earlier seen romantic angle. In the previous editions Kuma had shown his love for Panda, but in "Tekken 7" it looks like panda will only reply with punches and kicks.

As per the latest update, Panda will play a role similar to Ling Xiaoyu, whereas Kuma will be seen as pet and bodyguard of Heihachi Mishima. "Tekken 7" will also see the bears have their own fighting moves which can be viewed from a recently released video. Panda will use the volleyball spike to knock out the opponents whereas Kuma will use the Tuna fish to come out as a winner.
"Tekken 7" online Tournament mode will also be introduced in the update where players will be able to decide the game format and create their own tournament too. A spectator mode will also be introduced in the tournament which will be voice enable allowing the ones watching from the sidelines to comment on the on-going game.
"Tekken 7" online Tournament mode will also offer prizes to the winner either in the form of items or in-game currency. Players will be allowed to set the tournament mode in single or double elimination mode, as reported by Eurogamer. In the online tournament up to eight players will be able to fight in a tournament. Players will also have the choice to keep the fight private or make it public.
According to the announcement by Bandai Namco some popular characters and challenges will also be introduced with the update such as Nina, Akuma, Heihachi, and Feng. "Tekken 7 Fated Retribution" will also make its way to PC according to the producer Kutsihiro Harada. Some wild rumors also suggest a Nintendo switch version, but nothing has been confirmed officially.
