The new Kickass Torrents website has been launched a few days before as Katcr.Co. While the site looks similar to the original one, the members have added a number of changes to its functionality. The site is similar in appearance to the original site, however, the return of Kickass Torrents back online is a modified and clean user database. Most of the members of the original crew are back on board. Artem Vaulin however, has not actively participated in the return of the torrent website to prevent any further lawsuits being filed against him.
According to recent reports, the major uploaders from the original site are also back and have been working continuously even before the torrent engines were back online. If the reports are true, the downloading community can pretty soon see the uploads from their trusted names. This would most definitely help in improving Kickass Torrents status and the number of visitors to the new site.

After the original site got taken down, a number of mirror sites came into action. Although most of them were legitimate and were taken down, later on, there were also a few malicious sites who took advantage of the situation. These sites asked for user's details as a part of their registration and stole personal credentials of the users.
The team behind the return of Kickass Torrents back online clearly state that for the new website, users won't have to be worried about any such concerns. It took the team a lot of time to make the site safer but now as it's done, the users should have no fear of any theft-related issues.

As the government officials are currently still pursuing legal action against the former operators, it is very likely that the new site might also be taken down shortly. While the return of Kickass Torrents back online may be for a short time, the website has gained heavy traffic since its re-launch.
The torrent site KatCr.Co went offline a few hours after its launch. While people speculated that the site may have been taken out by U.S. Govt., it turns out that it was due to the heavy traffic resulting in some technical issues with the website.
