Michigan Lighthouse Transforms Into A Beautiful Ice Castle Due To Sub-Zero Temperatures (Video)
The polar vortex is invading the regions across the United States with extreme cold temperature. People prepare for these sub-zero temperatures, which are about between -5 Farenheit and -15 Farenheit on Friday. In a twist, a drone video released a photo of a lighthouse on Lake Michigan that was covered with ice and transformed into a beautiful ice castle. It also looks like a beautiful castle cake covered with icing.
The Great Lakes Drone Company posted the stunning footage of the frozen Michigan lighthouse on the lake's southwest shores. Likewise, photographer Joshua Nowicki filmed the ice-laden structure and uploaded it on Facebook. In his video, the lighthouse is seen covered with ice as waves spit water on all sides of the structure.

One commentator said that it is so beautiful and unbelievable that it is hard to believe there is no CGI involved. Another one commented that if there weren't for the seagulls flying by, it could be mistaken for a scale model. Meanwhile, Nowicki described the lighthouse as resembling an ice monster with one gnarly ice beard, as noted by WGN-TV.
Washington Post reports that the British press has fallen in love with the sculptured lighthouse. It called it a dead ringer for Elsa's ice palace in Frozen. The lighthouse is in St. Joseph, Michigan.
