The Swedish furniture chain IKEA is recalling two models of children's beds for repair due to a metal rod that could be potentially dangerous if it became unhinged.

According to the Associated Press (AP), as of Thursday, the company said it's recalling batches of KRITTER beds that are stamped with the manufacturing dates 1114-1322 and SINGLAR beds labeled 1114-1318.

The news organization notes that labels underneath the bed or on the side on the product can distinguish the model, and customers who bought it should contact customer service for a free reparation kit.

Though no accidents or injuries have been reported at this time, IKEA notes that the metal rod connecting the guardrail can cause the bed frame to brake and potentially hurt a child or adult due to its sharp metal edges.

This isn't the first recall the company has had over the years. In June 2012, a lamp light was recalled due to the possible risk of electric shock. Those who called regarding the product could either receive a replacement or a full refund. Though this product also received no incidents of injuries, it was still recalled shortly after researchers confirmed this potential health hazard.
