Bigfoot Really Exists, Claim Scientists [VIDEO]

A team of researchers conducted a five-year study to prove the existence of the Bigfoot and claims DNA evidence to prove the fact. The existence of Sasquatch  till date was considered to be a combination of a hoax and misidentification.

The researchers of the Sasquatch Genome Project held a press conference Wednesday, in  Dallas and showed video evidence to prove the existence of the large ape-like creature that is believed to inhabit the forests of Pacific Northwest region of  America.

The team conducted a five year DNA study on 'purported Sasquatch' samples . They successfully sequenced the 20  genomes of this creature . With this they were able to sequence three-whole nuclear genomes of Sasquatch and determined that the alien species is indeed a human hybrid, according to an earlier press release.

Last year Dr. Melba Ketchum, a genetics scientist and the lead of this project said in a statement, ".....The genome sequencing shows that Sasquatch mtDNA is identical to modern Homo sapiens, but Sasquatch nuDNA is a novel, unknown hominin related to Homo sapiens and other primate species. Our data indicate that the North American Sasquatch is a hybrid species, the result of males of an unknown hominin species crossing with female Homo sapiens."

The latest video released shows the huge ape like creature walking upright like humans and wandering through the woods and another Bigfoot is shown sleeping. The two Bigfoot creatures in the video are a female adult and one juvenile sasquatch.

"Sasquatch nuclear DNA is incredibly novel and not at all what we had expected. While it has human nuclear DNA within its genome, there are also distinctly non-human, non-archaic hominin, and non-ape sequences. We describe it as a mosaic of human and novel non-human sequence....." said Ketchum, a veterinarian with experience of 27 years of research in genetics, including forensics.

But the existence of Bigfoot has always been a debatable issue and this latest report claiming Bigfoot as a human hybrid has again fueled a worldwide debate.

Todd R. Disotell, an anthropologist at New York University, speaking about the lead researcher said, "She is a laughingstock of people that are of a community that are already kind of wacko. This was not reported in any scientific way whatsoever. It's complete junk science, and then she misinterprets it."

This finding triggers several questions like if the Bigfoot creature really existed why have hunters failed to provide any concrete remains or fossils of the creature. Secondly, why their dwelling place remains invisible as no ape species tries to hide itself the way the Bigfoot does, Guardian Express reports.

Looks like Ketchum has a strong faith in her finding and believes the video images are definitive proof of Bigfoot, and reports suggest that the researcher has approached the law enforcement officials for their protection.

"Genetically, the Sasquatch are a human hybrid with unambiguously modern human maternal ancestry. Government at all levels must recognize them as an indigenous people and immediately protect their human and Constitutional rights against those who would see in their physical and cultural differences a 'license' to hunt, trap, or kill them," she claims.

The study was funded by Adrian Erickson, a businessman. He approximately spent $500,000 on the project, which is published in the DeNovo Scientific journal, according to LiveScience.
