'No Man's Sky' Release Update: Sony Pseudo In-House Game's PS4, PC Version Arrives August, XBOX One Unlikely
"No Man's Sky" will arrive to PS4 and PC On August 2016. The team of developer's team took into its Twitter account a great news that the game is finally complete.
"No Man's Sky," a UK-based Hello Games, first publicized the game at VGX 2013. They released a "No Man's Sky" demo during the time. Sony, then highlighted "No Man's Sky" game during its press event at E3 in June 2014 and has shown-off its possible gameplay at E3 2016.
The "No Man's Sky" PC version has been confirmed to be launched alongside the PS4 release, but it is unlikely that an Xbox One version of the game will be created. It also appears that "No Man's Sky" may be available for VR as the creator of the game Sean Murray hinted in big style to Games Radar.
"No Man's Sky" is an indie title, however, Sony can see the potential that this game exclusive has. "No Man's Sky" PS4 offers a gaming experience unlike any other, on any platform, which has made Sony treat it as if it was an extraordinary game being developed in-house.
The "No Man's Sky" has been treated as if it was from one of their internal studios, according to Fergal Gara, Commercial Director of Sony. He said that they have been working very closely with the developers and bringing it into its release program as if they had made it themselves, PC Advisor reported.
"No Man's Sky" release date was supposedly in June, quoting two publications as main sources. However, the company claimed that the date was to be pushed back into July or possibly even August. Kotaku's sources described one source as reliable with no additional explanation as to how they were connected to the game development while the other was a GameStop employee.
