According to Tech2, there are high chances that Google will unveil Allo at a special event on October 4, 2016. Another interesting thing to note is that although "Google Allo" is currently available in a private testing stage to individuals who have pre-registered, the mobile-only messaging app has already garnered a 4.8 star rating. This means that the pre-testers are very pleased with how the messaging app works.
As far as "Google Allo" features are concerned, the upcoming mobile-only messaging app will be tied to user's phone number same as WhatsApp. It is to be noted that users will also be able to link the app with their Google account. The messaging app is expected to come with a user-friendly interface and will let users chat with their contacts in all ways like simple text messaging, sending graphics, emojis and stickers as well as doodling on photos. Android Police reported, citing alleged screenshots from a test version of "Google Allo," that the messaging app from the search giant will also offer voice messaging feature. As per the report, voice messaging feature will enable users to quickly record voice messages and send to their contacts.
