‘GTA 6’ Release Date, Latest News: Game’s Announcement To Happen This Week Along With ‘Read Dead Redemption 2’?
If new reports are to be believed game developer Rockstar Games might announce the next installment of the popular "Grand Theft Auto" franchise, possibly titled "Grand Theft Auto 6," at the PlayStation Meeting which is scheduled to happen this week.
According to Neurogadget, Rockstar's highly anticipated GTA 6 has high chances of getting announced this month or early 2017. However, the GTA 6 title is not expected to get a release date until 2018. While, Rockstar games hasn't revealed anything about the "Grand Theft Auto 6" gameplay, map or location, its parent publisher, Take-Two Interactive, had announced during its recent earnings report that the game developer has already begun work on some future exciting projects and will be announcing more details about the games soon. Fans are hoping that two of the highly anticipated sequels "Grand Theft Auto 6" and "Red Dead Redemption 2," will make it to the list this time.
In fact, PlayStation insider @Tidux also recently posted a message on Twitter which suggests an announcement from Rockstar could arrive shortly. The tweet had a picture of a guitar, followed by a star, followed by the hashtag PSM, reported ValueWalk. There also reports which claim that it will be "Read Dead Redemption 2," the follow up to the 2010 blockbuster, Read Dead Redemption, which will get announced at the event and not "GTA 6." It remains to be seen whether or not Rockstar announces any detail about the much rumored "Grand Theft Auto 6" at the PlayStation Meeting.
