What’s Inside The PlayStation VR Core Bundle Box: Sony Gives A Glimpse
The PlayStation VR, Sony's virtual reality headset is weeks away from its launch, but the company took a step forward and released a full-fledged unboxing video of the PlayStation VR core bundle, prelaunch. The video displays what the fans will get on the purchase of a PlayStation VR headset bundle.
The hardware of the gaming console includes a pair of headphones, external processing unit, virtual reality headset, USB cables and power. A PlayStation VR demo disc will also be incorporated in the bundle that will have 18 games on it so that you get the most out of the experience.
This move of uploading the unboxing video by Sony is being considered as a good one because the buyers will now know what they will exactly get in the bundle. The core bundle box doesn't include all that is required to operate the PlayStation VR to the fullest. The PlayStation camera which is not included in the box but still essential to play the PlayStation VR will have to be purchased separately to play some titles on the console. The box, that costs $400, isn't available for preorder anymore. It will be available in stores on 13 October.

The PlayStation VR headset has a 5.7 inches vertically spilt display that delivers a 960x1080 resolution in each eye. It has a high-end 1080p OLED screen whose refresh rate is 120Hz. The 120Hz implies that PlayStation VR is capable of displaying 120 frames per second as compared to meager 90Hz of the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, according to Tech Times.
LEDs are distributed for motion sensing around the headset. Volume and mute on/off options for the integrated microphone will be controlled by an in-line remote that gets connected to the PlayStation VR headset. This remote also features a headphone jack that can output 3D audio signals.
Games available on the console include Battlezone, EVE:Valkyrie, Gnog, Headmaster, Here They Lie, Harmonix Music VR, Driveclub VR and Rez Infinite. You'll also get to check a demo for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, a teaser for the upcoming game, according to International Business Times.
