Numerous rumors about the highly anticipated "Street Fighter 5" 2017 DLC have been flooding the internet for the last few months. While, game developer Capcom hasn't revealed much about what's stored in the upcoming "Street Fighter 5" DLC, reports are that there will be an addition of six new characters as well as new modes to the game.

The leaked information comes via Reddit where a user who goes by username "ImageofNetwork" posted an alleged picture which shows the rumored six characters expected to be added to the 2017 DLC lineup. Abel, Sagat, Q, Rose, Sodom and Oro are the six downloadable playable characters which are speculated to be added to the game's roster.

Notably, Capcom has already introduced the first batch of "Street Fighter 5" characters which includes Alex, Guile, Ibuki, Balrog, Juri and Urien. The authenticity of the leaked picture is yet to be proved. So, we request our readers to take the information with a hefty pinch of salt.

Talking about the new game modes, rumors are that the "Street Fighter 5" 2017 DLC will get two new modes-Arcade and Extra Battle. Notably, the Extra Battle mode was introduced way back in February. However, the same is yet to get introduced in the game. The Extra Battle mode will let gamers fight with special bosses for the "Ultimate Challenge" mode where they will have the opportunity to earn a lot of in-game currency.

In related news, Capcom will begin rolling out a limited edition Halloween-themed downloadable content for "Street Fighter 5" from Oct. 11 until Nov. 29. As part of the DLC, gamers will be offered Halloween themed costumers and items for characters like Ryu, Alex, Juri, Necalli, Cammy, Charlie and Vega, as well as an updated image of the Russia stage.
