Android 7.0 Nougat Update: How Soon Can Motorola Phones- Moto Z, Moto G4, Moto X, Moto E Get The Update?
Android 7.0 Nougat on Motorola's Moto G4 and G4 Plus was rumored to be out and the news had already caused a commotion in the tech world. But, it seems that the news was false and this had disappointed many owners worldwide. This update was found through Motorola's official Twitter account where they reported that no such OS updates were released for their devices.
When Is The Android 7.0 Nougat Update Coming On Motorola Devices?
Everybody is looking forward to know when this update will happen. But, there is no exact date out yet. And, Motorola is not reporting of any such Android 7.0 Nougat updates for now. But, one thing is certain that we will soon see the updates on Moto Z and Moto G4 series of phones as soon as possible. Most possibly, in the upcoming weeks.
A Motorola spokesperson had stated earlier that there will be Android 7.0 Nougat updates on the Motorola Moto Z series, Moto G4 and G4 Plus phones in the fourth quarter of 2016. The phones that cover up the Moto Z series of devices include - Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Play Droid, and Moto Z Play. So, there might be an update in these devices any time soon.
Furthermore, there have been reports on soak testing of the latest Android version on the Moto G4 in various locations. This lets us know that the updates on the OS version are soon to be publicly announced.
Other Motorola Devices To Get Android 7.0 Nougat Update
Other Moto devices that could get the update are - Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Moto X Style, Moto G (3rd GEN), Moto X Pure Edition (3rd GEN), Moto E (3rd GEN), Moto G Play (4th GEN)Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2, and Moto Droid 2015 Series.
Andoid 7.0 Nougat update comes in with multiple new features such as multi-window, VR interface, direct reply notifications, Extra power efficiency, screen zoom, consistent updates, data saver, clear all, Google Assistant, grouped notifications, better file browsing, instant apps, new emojis, app switch, and upgraded Java 8 language support.
