Jaguar’s Electric Car I-Pace Revealed As It Prepares To Take On Tesla

Jaguar's electric car was in the production and there have been several rumors about its specs. At a press preview, Jaguar has revealed the I-Pace, its reply to Tesla's model X. The I-pace will make its debut at the LA motor show. The production version will hit the dealership in the US in 2018. It will be a form if SUV with a sleeker profile.

Jaguar's electric car, I-Pace is equipped with 90 kWh batteries which will enable it to give 220-310 miles in a single charge. In terms of power, it will be able to accelerate from 0-62mph in four seconds, which is comparable with sports cars.

I-Pace will use an all-wheel drive system to deliver a 516 pound-feet of torque. The electric car's motors will produce a power of 394 horsepower. Jaguar's executive said that the car will have,

"precise, agile driving dynamics as yet unseen on an electric vehicle".

Jaguar's electric car, I-Pace will have more room for passengers and cargo than some larger SUVs. The extra space is recovered from the where the traditional drivetrain's space. The interior design is amazingly crafted with electric technology and gives a premium feel.

There are a 12-inch touchscreen and a 5.5-inch secondary touchscreen which can be used to control the climate and the infotainment. Jaguar's new F-Pace SUV's suspension system has been used in I-pace. The batteries are placed under the floor of the car resulting in the low center of gravity. This will give a better driving control in various terrains.

Jaguar's electric car, I-Pace will eliminate the primary concern of electric cars with a 50kW DC charging capabilities, which will enable it to be charged from 0 to 80 percent in about 90 minutes. Interested customers can register online showing their interest.
