It has been reported that Google will be heavily involved in the input of the upcoming Nokia smart phones and tablets. Reportedly, Nokia is all set to make a comeback into the smartphone market in 2017.

It was on December 1 that HMD Global Oy officially took over the phone business of Nokia. We also have been reading news about upcoming Nokia phones and tablets with Android OS. Quite a few current leaders of HMD have spent their professional stints at Nokia before. This news captures the trust of a major chunk of the market as Google is an influential tech giant.

Google recently launched its flagship device Pixel and Pixel XL. The gadgets were received with high enthusiasm across the market. These rumors can hopefully boost the performance of the upcoming Nokia smartphones once they are launched. HMD's vision is ambitious and inspiring.

"We are not going to skip any markets in the long term," said President Folrian Seiche. "We want to be one of the key competitive players in the smartphone business," says CEO CEO Arto Nummela.

However, Nokia fans need not worry a lot about the ownership and management change. The HMD management stated that they planned to be true and dedicated to the brand-name of Nokia. The name is known for quality, strength, ease of access and simplicity. These qualities will be repackaged in awesome and latest industrial design and presented to fans across the world.

What do these proclamations suggest? Digital Trends analysts assume that HMD will not interfere much with the OS framework of Android. The Nokia X phones with Windows OS were not received well in the market. We expect full support of Google apps and features in the upcoming phones. Nokia is expected to release the latest range of Android based smartphones next year. There have been many leaks and rumours about the specs of the upcoming Nokia D1C.
