‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Latest News, Release Date, Update: Game's Valenwood Setup Confirmed? PS4 Version Cancelled? [VIDEO]

While, Bethesda Studios hasn't officially announced anything about the much-rumored sequel to the "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," lots of rumors about "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date, features and gameplay have been hitting the web for quite some time now.

New reports suggest gameplay of the upcoming "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be based in Valenwood. YouTube presenter ESO has recently released a video which talks about a purported 2014 Bethesda memo. While, the memo doesn't directly mention anything about Valenwood, it has some code words like "Fallout: Nuka World", "Elder Scroll VI" and "Project Greenheart." It is believed that "Project Greenheart" is a code name which has been used for Valenwood. Notably, Greenheart is an existing city which is located in Valenwood.

Among other rumors, "The Elder Scrolls 6" is expected to offer guild management feature to gamers on its online multiplayer mode which will let them handle their own guilds. It is also rumored that "The Elder Scrolls 6" game will be compatible with VR. Bethesda's Todd Howard mentioned during an interview with GameIndustry Biz that the gaming studio is seeking to explore the realms of virtual reality. Notably, Howard didn't mention anything about the sixth installment of the Elder Scrolls series. So, it remains to be seen whether or not "The Elder Scrolls 6" will come with VR support. A mobile edition of the game is also rumored to be in works.

There are also reports which claim that Bethesda might release mobile edition of the console game. if the same happens then gamers will be able to play "The Elder Scrolls 6" on smartphones, phablets as well as desktop computers. Furthermore, as Sony has confirmed that it will not allow mods on PlayStation 4, there are high chances that the gaming studio won't roll out the upcoming game for the gaming platform.

As far as "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date is concerned, the gaming title is rumored to get a 2019 release.
