New reports suggest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti might get a January 2017 release date. Rumors tell that the highly anticipated graphic card will be unveiled by NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 in Las Vegas, which is scheduled to happen next year in January.

Notably, NIVIDIA hasn't yet confirmed GeForce GTX 1080 Ti January release date rumors. However, it did release a clip which listed automated cards, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, machine learning and games as subject matters about which Jen-Hsun would be mentioning in his CES 2017 speech, reported PCGamesN.

Rumors reveal that GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will use Nvidia's Pascal GP102 silicon, which is already used in the Titan X. The rumored graphics card will have a 1.6 and 1.5 GHz clock speed, 3328 CUDA cores, 1503 MHz base clock and 1,623 MHz boost clock. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is expected to come powered with a total of 12GB of video random access memory.

As far as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti price is concerned, the next gen graphics card is expected to be priced in between $700 to $800.

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti vs AMD Radeon RX 490-

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti is expected to face tough competition from AMD Radeon RX 490, which is also expected to get an early 2017 release date. The RX 490 is rumored to be the first AMD graphics card to be based on the Vega 10 architecture. The upcoming graphics card is expected to feature 9,830 GFLOPS of computing power with a base clock of 1200 MHz, a dual-GPU system, a 16384 MB memory size, a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface, a memory bandwidth of 716.8 GB/s along with a thermal power of 200 W.
