OnePlus 3T might be coming out this December, but, tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting to get their hands on the next "flagship killer" - the OnePlus 4. Reports say that the handset is going to be really powerful and will compete with devices like the upcoming iPhone 8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8.

After what reports suggest about the upcoming OnePlus flagship device, it is prudent to wait for the OnePlus 4 instead of purchasing a slightly revamped device like the OnePlus 3T.

One Plus 4 Release Date Update

According to reports by Weibo users, OnePlus's 2017 "flagship killer" will be revealed most probably in June or July, 2017. It is expected that the upcoming upgrades in the device will revolutionize the way smartphones perform.

One Plus 4 Rumored Specs

Rumors suggest that the upcoming OnePlus 4 will feature the next-gen Qualcomm-based SnapDragon 830 processor chipset with a clock speed of 3GHz. Several upcoming phones in 2017 will feature this chip and OnePlus plans to stand out in the front of the line with the phone specs.

The new Qualcomm SnapDragon 830 processor will feature the new 10nm process which will give phones faster performance and improved battery backup. TSMC is said to be responsible for the mass manufacturing of the upcoming chipset. As per reports by BGR India, TSMC is also rumored to produce them for Samsung Galaxy 8 and Apple iPhone 8. And, these chips will also be using the 10nm process-based SnapDragon 830 processor chips.

2017 might be the era of performance-based smartphones. And, many devices are entering the competition to beat each other's performing capabilities. Another rumor suggests that the OnePlus 4 specs will comprise of an Adreno 620 GPU for backing up the SnapDragon 830 chipset. A larger battery of 4,000mAh is also said to be there. The device could also feature Android 7.1 Nougat first hand.

For now, OnePlus 3T is the device everyone is looking for. And, the OnePlus 3 upgraded version is expected to come up with a SnapDragon 821 chipset instead of SnapDragon 820 as per reports. The smartphone could also get a better camera sensor, with a possible 2K display and Android Nougat out of the box.
