It's not a secret anymore that Nokia is all set to make a comeback into the smartphone industry in 2016 with its upcoming range of Android phones and tablets which are expected to get unveiled sometime later this year. If new reports are to be believed two of the Nokia Android Phones with model numbers Nokia 5320 and Nokia RM-1490 have already appeared in Geek bench listings.

According to NokiaPowerUser, the first handset listed as the Nokia 5320 will feature as a 2.27GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, which is expected to be the latest Snapdragon 821 processor, as the Snapdragon 820 peaks at 2.2GHz. It is to be noted that Snapdragon 821 has a clocking speed of 2.4 GHz. But oddly the handset in question is only listed as having 2GB of RAM and running an old version of Android, dubbed Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.

The second Nokia Android 2016 phone leaked at Geekbench is the Nokia RM-1490. The handset has been listed with a single core AMD A8-5545M processor clocked at just 500MHz. as per the listing the smartphone will get 2GB and run an even older Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. The authenticity of the Geek bench smartphone listing has not yet been proved. So, we advise our readers to take the information with a big grain of salt.

Notably, the smartphones which will mark Nokia's comeback in 2016 will be manufactured by Finland-based HMD Global, which has signed an exclusive agreement to manufacture Nokia-branded phones and tablets for the next 10 years. According to a report coming from Chinese publication, The Paper, Mike Wang, President, Joint Management Team, Nokia China, has confirmed the news that the company is planning to launch four Android devices, two smartphones and two tablets either in late December 2016 or in the first quarter of 2017.
